NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Please be advised that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Carramar Social Golf Club Inc (‘the Club’) will take place as detailed below :-

The order of business will be as set out in the Association Rules a copy of which is available from the Secretary. The rules may also be viewed on the Club website (About us) at the following link:-

The final agenda for the AGM will be available to members on Wednesday13th November 2024.
Following the AGM the usual Wednesday night meeting will take place.

Notices of Motion
Members wishing a motion to be considered at the AGM should submit their Notice of Motion to the Secretary by 6th November 2024 (except motions seeking to alter the Association Rules and requiring a special resolution, which must be submitted by 1st November 2024). Please note that only written Notices of Motion signed by a proposer and seconder who are paid up Full Playing members, Senior Members or Life Members of the Club will be accepted. Scanned copies of such notices may be emailed to the Secretary, provided a hard copy bearing the signatures of the proposer and seconder is in the Secretary’s hands prior to the AGM. All motions will be included in the final agenda unless previously withdrawn.

Election of Officers and Committee
Nominations for the election of Officers and Committee are to be completed on a Nomination Form available from the Secretary (or downloaded from the website) and need to be proposed and seconded by fully paid up members of the Club as described above. The form also needs to be signed by the Nominee and to clearly indicate the position to which the nomination relates.

Nominations must be submitted to the Secretary by 13th November 2024. Scanned copies of such nominations submitted electronically are acceptable subject to the same condition as above.

Renewal of Membership
In accordance with Section 14(b) of the Association Rules members seeking to renew Club membership for the year 2024/2025 are required to do so by 31st October 2024.

Members have already received notices of this requirement and if you have not yet renewed your subscription or tendered your resignation you are requested to do so as soon as possible. Failure to renew membership on time may result in that individual’s place being offered to a person on the waiting list or, having to re-nominate for membership.

Only fully paid up Full Playing, Senior and Life members are eligible to participate in and vote at the AGM
